The Power of Curb Appeal

I changed hats recently and put my own personal home on the market.  We had several showings but no bites.  Just last week I had a landscaper come over and freshen it up -- add pine straw, do some trimming, etc.  Nothing major -- just a little "lipstick".  The very first showing after he did this, we got an offer!  Coincidence?  Maybe, but one I'm willing to take a gamble on again.  You just never know what may be needed to sway that potential purchaser.  In all we spent about $400, and for an offer that was eventually negotiated to a contract, it's a small price to pay.
